The wine has a beautiful cherry red colour with raspberry highlights.
The nose is expressive and pleasant, it opens with red and black fruits and spices.
When aired, notes of blackcurrant and cooked red fruit are revealed and give a nice aromatic complexity to the wine.
The attack is frank and pleasant with a presence of red fruits and exotic spices. The tannins are supple and pleasant. The mouth ends on a spicy finish.
A good match with a shallot steak and potatoes sautéed with onions and bacon or a roasted stuffed guinea fowl with red cabbage compote.
