The wine has a light cherry red colour with copper highlights.
The first nose is expressive and pleasant with warm notes of stewed cherry, cocoa and liquorice. When aired, notes of fruit in brandy and gingerbread complete this aromatic expression.
In the mouth, the wine is supple and greedy with a spicy and warm character. An elegant wine with a good structure and good ageing potential.
Roasted lamb cannon with thyme au gratin dauphinois or boneless pig’s trotters roasted in crepinette, stuffed with cabbage.
